No. The dual USB-C connector is designed for standard port tolerances. Press it straight in -- avoid lateral force. Remove by gripping the hub body, not the laptop chassis.

Orientations oppose each other on this device -- check the labeled diagram on the hub before inserting any card.

The primary connector uses USB 3 (10Gb/s) for data and video; the secondary uses USB 2 for power. HDMI and PD charging are unaffected. Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and audio stay fully operational.
